Predicting the future is in my opinion not the best way to go: be prepared for unpredicted events and make sure your endeavours are robust for different scenarios. I like this article though. However, I think many of the futurists highlighted wrote the future, rather than predicted it. For example, the stuff we see in Star Trek has shaped 'the future', our current lives.

Already a few months old, this post keeps amazing me. Wonderful how filtering and processing of large amounts of data can be done without even a computer insight.

Great idea for the nomadic worker: find a place on the map and drop by to work a day or a few hours. Should be very refreshing to do so, and inspiring to meet new people. Great way to finish a report.
