The pricing mechanisms for the new Amazon services are pretty interesting. The services were already scalable, but now the pricing mechanisms are also based on scalable (significant more usage becomes cheaper).

Eric Meyer (from the CSS book) has worked on a way to standardize how browsers render basic pages. He calls it CSS reset. Could come in handy.
