Interesting interview that deals with the real democratic value of voting systems. As Arrow’s Impossibility Theorem states that a perfectly fair voting system is mathematically impossible, it is argued that there are fairer methods.
How keeping information about users is not always smart, and goes against privacy issues. One of the funny purge scenarios: “oops – we shouldn’t have been collecting that!”
We all would like to think out of the box, but even being an engineer means we are in our own ‘little box’. Therefor it is so extremely important to get a mixed group of people together to ‘innovate’!
